Rigorously designed and tested to protect your tablet from the harsh outside world, we designed and tested Survivor All-Terrain to be the most protective case possible for whatever your day has in store – Survivor Case iPad Air 2 . Designed and tested to meet or exceed the standards published in US Department of Defense MIL-STD-810G, Survivor All-Terrain is built from the inside out to protect your tablet from extreme conditions ... drops, sand, rain, impacts, vibration, and a host of other environmental factors.

Featuring protects your tablet from 6.6-foot (2 meter) drops onto concrete, sealed ports keep out windblown rain, sand, and dust. Also inner crash shell with foam panels deflects impacts and outer silicone jacket absorbs drop and vibration. Anti-scratch screen shield protects touchscreen, clear, protective guard covers the camera, etc.

The Survivor case for the iPad air 2 is great. To get it on the iPad, just snap off the front screen cover, put the iPad in the back cover, and then snap the front screen cover back on. All the buttons work great, no problem with volume or power buttons on the case. Nothing is better than the Griffin Survivor line. This type of case has protected all of your phone.

There is no better protection for your iPad Air 2 than Griffin. You can also purchase just a colorful cover, but they provide no protection at all. To me this is an investment, not just a purchase. One thing to note, the screen cover is plastic and after time it becomes scratched. iPads are designed to protect against certain levels of water exposure, a few rain drops, perhaps a splash when boating, and this case can serve for those incidents as well.

This case and its predecessors for earlier versions of the iPad are about as protective as you can get. This particular case is light weight considering the level of protection it offers. The case itself will defect most of the liquid, but it is not possible to block all of the liquid all the time. It is worth noting that these cases can suffer and survive from repeated abuse on a daily basis. Generally offer fairly objective reviews for cases geared towards the lowest cost, best construction, and lightest weight rather than rock solid protection.

The removable kick stand is nice. The survivor Slim case for the iPad Air 2 however had a built in kickstand on the back of the case. Which is very nice and well worth the money. Final thoughts on this product, it's tough and durable, but as it is, so is the survivor slim series, sturdy, protected, and well made.
